Key points for safe operation of agricultural manual cultivator
- Jun-05-2023-

In recent years, agricultural microtillers have been promoted and used, and have demonstrated good agricultural machinery promotion effectiveness. Agricultural microtillers mainly include double-tracked microtillers, hand-held self-propelled multifunctional microtillers and so on. As a farm machinery operator must do frequent maintenance of agricultural microtiller systems, and constantly improve the overall mechanical structure of agricultural microtillers. The main technical points of operation of agricultural microtiller equipment are as follows.

1. Start-up operation

Small microtillers have good flexibility and care should be taken to protect the microtiller equipment from wear and tear after start-up. Before switching on the tracked automatic tiller system, the technician should carry out a thorough inspection of the screw connections, the oil level and the clutch system. After a thorough start-up inspection, the tiller system should be guaranteed to be mechanically safe. The tiller should be operated in the correct manner to prolong the life of the tiller.

2. Farm cultivation operations

Hand-operated automatic microtillers with automatic adjustment can be used to simplify tillage operations and save on labour costs. When operating the microtiller system, it is essential that the technician follows the correct microtiller operation to avoid damage to the internal structure of the microtiller or downtime due to human error. The mechanical system of the tiller should be thoroughly inspected and replaced at regular intervals to prevent mechanical failure. Once the engine has been fully started, the tiller should be kept in a smooth forward motion to avoid excessive vibration.

3. Operation of the microtiller stop

Farmers should turn off their microtillers immediately after the tillage session to stop wasting too much fuel. When switching off machinery, the handbrake should be applied and it is best to choose a gentle area to park the tiller. Small tillage machines can be parked nearby to ensure that they are switched off after use to avoid wasting energy. If the tiller is running low on fuel, add the right amount of fuel to it.
